On April 23 the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Aghvan Hovsepyan had a meeting with the delegation headed by the Chargé d'Affaires of the People’s Republic of China to Armenia, Zhao Mingwen.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues on cooperation between the law enforcement bodies of both countries.

The Chargé d'Affaires informed that the Supreme People's Procuratorate of the People's Republic of China accepted A. Hovsepyan’s invitation and the delegation headed by the Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China Cao Jianming will visit Armenia from June 9 to 12.

The sides expressed hope that the visit would spur the development of cooperation and identify specific areas.

The General Prosecutor’s Offices of Armenia and China signed a Memorandum on Cooperation in 1998.
