3,773 Karabakh War Dead, 243 Missing, Says Pashinyan
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan said that 3,773 Armenians died during last year’s Karabakh war and that 243 are still missing.
Pashinyan noted the official numbers in a speech today at the National Assembly outlining his government’s five-year program for the country.
Pashinyan stressed that Armenia is at a crucial turning point and that his government is ready to discuss, in an atmosphere of cooperation and calmness, the challenges facing the country.
"This discussion should be not only about identifying problems and challenges, but also about the causes and origins, as well as ways to solve them in terms of short-term, medium-term and strategic perspectives," Pashinyan said.
