60 Million AMD in Bonuses to Pashinyan's Staff

Civil servants in Armenia have been awarded monetary bonuses to mark the country’s 30th independence anniversary.

60 million AMD ($125,000) was allocated to pay bonuses, pegged at 50% of monthly salary, to the 430 employees in the prime minister’s office.

Parliamentary Speaker Alen Simonyan, a member of the ruling Civil Contract faction, ordered the bonuses.

In response to a Hetq inquiry about the bonuses paid to other department employees, the government said each department/agency must provide their own figures separately.
