
Putin, Erdoğan Meet in Sochi; Discuss Karabakh Issue
The presidents of Russia and Turkey met today in Sochi and are expected to discuss the Karabakh issue during their private discussion.
Putin and Erdoğan, according to a Kremlin statement, will also discuss the joint ceasefire monitoring center the two countries set up in the Aghdam region of Azerbaijan.
The Kremlin cites Erdoğan as saying that Moscow and Ankara have learned to find mutually beneficial compromises on various matter, while Putin added that the talks are not easy, but will have a positive outcome.
"We are cooperating quite successfully in the international arena, Putin said, stressing that the cooperation between the two countries guarantees stability, and peace in the region depends on the relations between the two countries.
