Armenia’s Ministry of Defense has confirmed the deaths of three soldiers in Tavoush Marz earlier today due to gunfire wounds.

The statement doesn’t mention where the gunfire originated. A criminal investigation has been launched by military investigators.

The three soldiers died from their wounds sustained when they were driving a military vehicle.

One soldier died on the way to the Berd military hospital and the other two died while being treated there.
