
Armenia, Local Elections: 33.2% Voter Turnout
Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission has published voter turnout data in today’s local elections as of 8p.m. local time.
Gyumri, Armenia’s second city, registered the lowest voter turnout. Out of 109,453 eligible voters, 26,417 (24.14%) cast ballots.
In Goris, out of 20696 registered voters, 10,400 or 50.25% voted.
Voter turnout in the other communities:
Meghri – 8,572 eligible voters. 5,098 (59.47) voted.
Dilijan - 18,374 voters. 8,085 (44%) voted.
Tat – 4,173 voters. 2,615 (62.66%) voted.
Tegh: 3,890 voters. 2,359 (60.64%) voted.
Fioletovo - 805 voters. 224 (27.83%) voted.
Shamiram - 521 voters. 135 (25.91%) voted.
Ferik - 269 voters. 77 (28.62%) voted.
Overall, as of 8p.m. local time, 33.23% of eligible voters cast ballots.
