Azerbaijan today launched military exercises in the Kashatagh region of Artsakh.

This is the second military exercise Azerbaijan has conducted in Kashatagh after it was handed over to Azerbaijan on December 1, 2020 according to the November 9, 2020 agreement signed by Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

"Special attention was paid to improving the skills of using modern military equipment and other military equipment in the conditions of difficult terrain," according to an Azerbaijani Defense Ministry statement.
