57 people in Armenia died overnight from Covid-19, the highest one-day number of deaths to date.

The Armenian Ministry of Health reports that of the 11,982 individuals tested for the virus, 1,517 tested positive.

The official death toll from the disease in the country of some 3 million now stands at 6,112.
