
Russian, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Discuss Easing Tensions on Armenia-Azerbaijan Border
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov today by telephone, discussed bilateral relations, regional and international agendas.
The two also exchanged views on easing tensions on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the unblocking all transport and economic ties in the South Caucasus.
Lavrov, according to a statement released by his office, stressed the importance of continuing efforts aimed at a politico-diplomatic settlement of the entire range of issues in relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
The ministers said they are satisfied with the ongoing development of the multifaceted Russian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership.
Lavrov and Bayramov also discussed the implementation of the statements of the leaders of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan on November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021.
