Armenia has received a single batch of 400,000 doses of the Chinese Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine from China. 

Armenia’s Ministry of Health reports that the vaccine will soon be available at primary health care and mobile vaccination centers in the country.

The Sinopharm vaccine, intended for people over the age of eighteen, is authorized by the World Health Organization (WHO) for emergency use.

A Ministry of Health statement does not specify if it purchased the vaccines or whether it was donated.
