Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission Chief in Armenia Nathan Porter met today in Yerevan.

Pashinyan, according to a statement released by his office, praised the ongoing cooperation between Armenia and the IMF.

The partnership with the IMF and target programs, especially in the post-war period, demonstrated their potential and contributed to the maintenance of macroeconomic stability in Armenia. We are ready to continue the cooperation in the same spirit. We are ready to discuss further joint actions,” Pashinyan said.

Rice said that the IMF will continue to support the Armenian government in improving monetary and fiscal policy, the public-private investment system, and strengthening the business environment.
