3,712 Armenian Soldiers, 76 Civilians Killed in 2020 Karabakh War

The Armenian government, responding to an inquiry filed by the National Assembly’s Hayastan faction, reports that the official number of Armenian military servicemen killed in the 2020 Karabakh war as of October 22, 2021 is 3,712 and civilians, 76.

The number of missing is 243, of which 222 are servicemen.

The government, in its response, says that114 servicemen and civilians have returned to Armenia from Azerbaijan to date.

Regarding the provision of humanitarian aid to Artsakh from other countries, the Armenian government says an agreement was signed between Armenia and the Russian Ministry of Finance that has provided €10 million in free financial assistance for the social needs of Artsakh residents temporarily residing in Armenia.

The EU has provided €10 million in humanitarian assistance to civilian war victims of the war. The aid was distributed via civil society organizations and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
