Armenia’s Ministry of Defense reports that it has lost two military positions along the eastern border after Azerbaijani military troops opened artillery fire earlier today.

The ministry says that Armenian forces has suffered casualties and have inflicted “great losses on Azerbaijani military equipment and manpower.”

"The battles continue. Their intensity has not weakened," the ministry said in a statement.
