Armenian Security Council Head Says Country Will Repel Any Military Incursion

Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan, at today’s CIS Secretaries of Security Council meeting in Moscow, said that while Armenia is committed to the peace process and is ready to start the demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, it will resolutely repel any military incursions into its territory.

Grigoryan, according to a statement released by his office, said that Azerbaijan continues to violate the November 9, 2020 ceasefire agreement and militarily threatens Armenia’s territorial integrity.

Regarding the unblocking of the transportation links in the region, Grigoryan noted that Armenia is ready to make every effort to implement the agreements reached on November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021.
