Head of the European Union’s Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Victorin, today visited Yerevan’s Soldier’s Home rehabilitation center.

Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU) Rector Armen Muradyan and Director of the Soldier's House Haykuhi Minasyan gave Victorin a tour of the center, its treatment and rehabilitation units, and described the social, educational and cultural programs held there.

Victorin, according to a YSMU statement, was highly impressed when soldiers with prosthetic legs and in wheelchairs performed a dance for her.

The YSMU statement says that Victorin suggested discussing other joint training programs in the future.
