Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has demanded that Armenia announce the opening date of the so-called Zangezur Corridor.

Aliyev stated this during a visit to the Juba region, Interfax reports.

 "I said, tell us the dates when our lands will be vacated, then we were ready to stop. Today, I say the same words. Tell me the dates when the Zangezur corridor will open, in which case there will be no problem," Aliyev is quoted as saying.

 "We have achieved what we want. It will be good if this issue is resolved in a constructive way, through negotiations and mutual understanding," Aliyev said.

He also spoke about the fact that during the war there were forces that tried to stop Azerbaijan. In his speech, Aliyev again threatened Armenia, declaring that if there were any racist actions, the issue would be resolved immediately.

"Before it is too late, they must accept our terms and put an end to the insincere approach to roads and communications," Aliyev said.
