Representatives of Turkey and Armenia will hold their first meeting in Moscow to normalize relations between the two countries according to a RIA Novosti report today quoting Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

“Special envoys for normalization with Armenia have been appointed. The first meeting will be in Moscow. We hope that Armenia will act within the framework of international law," Cavusoglu told journalists in Ankara. He added that flights between Istanbul and Yerevan will start in the coming days.

The Turkish Foreign Minister did not specify when the first meeting will take place.

Ruben Rubinyan, Deputy Speaker of Armenia’s National Assembly, has been appointed Armenia’s special envoy for the normalization talks.
