Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, by telephone today, discussed steps to expand relations between the two countries.

The two, according to a statement released by Pashinyan’s office, stressed the need to strengthen economic ties.

They also discussed regional developments.

Raisi conveyed season greetings to Pashinyan and the Armenian people and Pashinyan thanked the Iranian government for creating the necessary conditions for the preservation of the identity of the Armenians of Iran.
