Today's Turkish National Security Council Meeting to Discuss Relations with Armenia

A closed-door meeting, chaired by President Recep Erdoğan, of Turkey’s National Security Council (NSC) is set to take place today in Ankara.

Participants of the first session of the Turkish NSC this year will discuss several domestic and international issues, including Armenian-Turkish relations.

According to Turkish media reports, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will report to the council members on the progress of negotiations with Armenia.

The meeting will also focus on the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, the developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the situation in Libya and relations with Israel.
