
Yerevan-Istanbul Flights Take Off
Fly One Armenia and the Turkish Pegasus Airlines will launch flights today between Istanbul and Yerevan.
Pegasus will operate two flights during the first week of February (today and on the 5th), and from February 7 to March 27 – three flights a week (Monday, Thursday, Saturday).
Fly One Armenia will operate two flights a week (Monday, Friday), and three flights a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) starting in April.
Fly One Armenia will operate flights between Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport (EVN) and the new Istanbul Airport (IST), which opened in 2018 and is currently the main air gate serving the city replacing Atatürk Airport. Pegasus will fly between Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) and Zvartnots Airport.
Citizens of Armenia flying to Istanbul will be exempted from paying the 10,000 AMD “air fee” for the next three years.
