Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and visiting Austrian Minister of European and Foreign Affairs Alexander Schallenberg today attended the opening of an Armenian-Austrian business forum in Yerevan.
Mirzoyan, according to a statement released by his office, said the Armenian government is taking all necessary steps to create a favorable business environment in the country.
“In this regard, I would like to mention the development of democratic institutions in Armenia, the fight against corruption, and the establishment of free, truly competitive market relations,” Mirzoyan said in his remarks.
Mirzoyan said that Armenia’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union affords businesses an opening to a 180 million buyers’ market.
