Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan today said goodbye to Syrian Ambassador to Armenia Haj Ibrahim who is completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

Pashinyan, according to a statement released by his office, praised the ambassador's efforts in strengthening Armenian-Syrian relations and voiced hope that Syria overcomes the challenges it faces.

Pashinyan noted the humanitarian aid Armenia has sent to Syria, describing it as a tribute to the Syrian people who gave refuge to Armenians fleeing the 1915 Genocide.

Ambassador Ibrahim thanked Armenia for such assistance and noted it underscores the strong friendship between the two countries.
