Armenia's 15% Unemployment Rate Highest in EEU
Armenia’s 15% unemployment rate is the highest of all Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) countries as of December 2021.
The unemployment rate at the end of 2021 was 3.7% in Belarus, 4.9% in Kazakhstan, 4.4% in Russia, and 5.8% in Kyrgyzstan (2020).
EEU data shows that Armenia’s unemployment rate dropped from 17% to 15% during 2021.
