Heifer Armenia and Development Principles NGO are organizing their regular Annual Youth Forum. Over 200 members of YES Youth Clubs functioning in 29 rural communities of Armenia will participate in this year’s forum.

The 2012 Youth Forum will be held under the “Empowered Youth Builds the Future of the Armenian Village” motto. The event will take place on 11 and 12 May in the “House of Writers” resort in Tsakhkadzor, Armenia.

The focus of this year’s forum will be on the engagement of the rural Youth Clubs in the social-economic life of their communities and the work of the Youth Club members to cooperate with local self-governance bodies. As customary, Youth club members from all seven thematic directions will briefly present their work of the previous year and a discussion and questions and answer session will follow the presentations.

Government representatives, Heifer staff members and partners will participate in the event.
