Armenian Human Rights Defender Travels to Artsakh for Talks

Armenian Human Rights Defender (HRD) Kristinne Grigoryan traveled to Artsakh today for a meeting with Artsakh State Minister Artak Beglaryan and her Artsakh counterpart Gegham Stepanyan.  

Beglaryan, according to a statement released by his office, congratulated   Grigoryan on her recent appointment and welcomed her on her first working visit to Artsakh.

Grigoryan said she was determined to protect the rights of Artsakh Armenians, noting that one of her priorities will be to collect facts about Azerbaijan's anti-Armenian policy and its targeting of Artsakh Armenians.

Grigoryan said she’ll report her findings at various international platforms.

Beglaryan welcomed Grigoryan’s programs related to Artsakh and again stressed the need for continued cooperation between the two countries’ HRD’s offices.
