Respect, Courtesy: Draft "Rules of Conduct" for Armenia's Public Servants

Armenia’s Corruption Prevention Commission (CPC) has submitted, for public discussion, a draft “rules of conduct” for public servants.

As stated in the appendix to the draft, mandatory rules of conduct for public servants include respect and gratitude, legitimacy, integrity and loyalty to the public interest, transparency and accountability, courtesy, and a ban on accepting gifts, etc.

A statement released by the CPC does not specify what state agency will be empowered to assess any alleged violations if the draft receives government approval.
