Repairs Continue on Damaged Karabakh Gas Pipeline
Repairs to a damaged section of a pipeline supplying natural gas to Artsakh from Armenia that began yesterday haven't been completed.
The Artsakh government, in a statement today, reports that bad weather has hampered work on the damaged pipeline section that is in Azerbaijani controlled territory.
The pipeline was damaged on March 8, in yet unspecified circumstances, depriving Artsakh residents of much needed fuel supplies.
Azerbaijani authorities agreed to repair the pipeline yesterday following a deal brokered by Russian peacekeepers.
Update: Natural gas will be supplied to Artsakh residents starting on March 19, this according to a statement released by the Artsakh government.
