14 Armenian Soldiers Wounded in Artsakh Clashes, Says HRD

Artsakh Human Rights Defender (HRD) Gegham Stepanyan reports that he visited fourteen Armenian soldiers wounded in clashes with Azerbaijani troops along the eastern section of the Karabakh Line of Contact.

Two of the fourteen who were wounded today and now hospitalized in Stepanakert, are in serious condition according to Stepanyan who says the soldiers told him Azerbaijani drones were the culprit.

Stepanyan described the Azerbaijani ceasefire breaches as “violations of humanitarian law”.

"Given the systematic ethnic cleansing and genocidal actions carried out by the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan, the Artsakh Defense Forces are carrying out self-defense actions as enshrined in international documents to ensure the right to life and existence of the people of Artsakh," Sepanyan's Facebook post reads.

Earlier, Azerbaijani armed forces crossed the Line of Contact in Artsakh and occupied the village of Parukh in the Askeran region and adjacent positions.
