Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, by telephone today, discussed the formation of a commission on the demarcation and border security between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The two also discussed preparations for the official visit of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Russia and then implementation of the agreements reached through the trilateral declarations of January 11 and November 26.

Mirzoyan, according to a statement released by his office, stressed the importance of Russia's mediation efforts, including as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group.

They also exchanged views on regional and international security issues.
