Armenia: 18 of Armavir Province's 64 Kindergartens Not Licensed
Eighteen of the sixty-four community-run kindergartens in Armenia’s Armavir Province are not licensed by the state.
The eighteen either lack satisfactory educators, curriculum, or proper building ownership documentation.
According to information provided by the Armavir Provincial Administration, only kindergartens in Etchmiadzin are fully licensed.
The Armavir Provincial Administration told Hetq that it has asked community leaders to implement licensing of their pre-school educational programs in accordance with the legislation.
Armavir community leaders claim that it’s difficult to recruit qualified educators for rural schools.
