The last day of public school in Armenia is May 25.

Accordingly, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan has instructed all municipal agencies to pay particular attention to the traditional, but illegal, custom of schools collecting money from students.

Mayor Margaryan also focused on the need for greater security measures on the last day of school when some graduating students go on joy rides in the family car.
