Yerevan: Anti-Government Protests Continue

Opponents of Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan continued to stage protests in Yerevan today and closed several major intersections.

Armenian parliament Vice Speaker Ishkhan Saghatelyan, the public face of the protests, warned that government opponents would block roads into Yerevan today.

He said such steps would force police out of Yerevan and into the suburbs.

Saghatelyan called on supporters to drive very slowly in Yerevan and thus create traffic jams.
