Armenia’s defense ministry has rebuffed claims made by Azerbaijan’s defense ministry that Armenian troops opened fire on Azerbaijani military positions along the eastern border last night.

"The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is under the full control of Armenia’s armed forces," the Armenian defense ministry said in a statement.
