Meeting of Armenian, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Produces No Concrete Results, Says Georgian FM
Yesterday’s meeting in Tbilisi between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan produced no concrete results but it created a precedent for direct dialogue according to Georgian Foreign Minster Ilia Darchiashvili.
"Concrete results are never achieved by the results of the first round of negotiations. This case is not an exception," Darchiashvili said in an interview with Georgian Moambe news.
Darchiashvili hosted the meeting between Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov.
Following the meeting, the Armenian Foreign Ministry issued a statement that the two ministers discussed a wide range of issues regarding the normalization of relations between their coutries.
