Armenian Health Minister Warns of Restrictions if Covid-19 Cases Increase
Armenian Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan today warned that safety restrictions will be reinstated if the number of Covid-19 cases in the country continues to increase.
Avanesyan, following today’s government cabinet session, said greater travel in Europe was causing the increase but that Armenia’s healthcare system was ready to cope.
She said the next two weeks will show whether the spread will continue or stabilize.
Avanesyan advised people to wear masks when visiting medical centers and to get a booster shot by September.
