Armenian Government Allocates $38,000 to Hold Pan-Armenian Educational Conference

The Armenian government will spend 15.7 million drams (US$38,300) to organize a pan-Armenian educational conference scheduled for Yerevan next month.

The Ministry of Education and Science, in a statement, says 130 delegates from Armenia, Artsakh and the diaspora will attend the conference designed to strengthen Armenia-diaspora cooperation in the field of education.

“The conference will address new trends in the organization and development of the education process in the diaspora in recent years, problems of Armenian culture preservation, as well as the issues of remote education organization. New methods of teaching Armenian and Armenian studies, curricula, and textbooks, will be presented. The conference will also discuss the problems of teaching Armenian in universities abroad,” the statement reads.
