Andrei Volkov, commander of the Russian peacekeeper mission in Artsakh, today told representatives of local civil society and opposition political organizations that he is taking measures to prevent further escalation along the Line of Contact.

Two Artsakh Defense Army soldiers were killed and nineteen wounded in fighting along the LoC yesterday.

The Russian peacekeeper mission, in its August 2 and 3 bulletins, said that Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire agreement.
