Yerevan traffic cops say they will crack down on storeowners that illegally place various items on the street to prevent drivers from parking outside their businesses.

Storeowners have used milk crates, chairs, parking cones and other handy items to prevent others from parking near their establishments.

Violators will be issued a warning and then fined if again caught.
