Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has again proclaimed that Armenians in Karabakh will enjoy no special status or privileges when the area comes under the control of Baku.

Aliyev, according to the Azeri-Press Agency (APA), stated on Azerbaijani Public TV that Armenians in Karabakh, “Should understand that their future solely depends on their integration into Azerbaijani society.”

The APA quotes Aliyev as saying that the rights of Armenians in Azerbaijan will be protected just like other Azerbaijani citizens.
