Serdar Kılıç , Turkey’s special representative in normalization talks with Armenia, conveyed his condolences to his Armenian counterpart Ruben Rubinyan following  yesterday’s explosion in Yerevan’s Surmalu Market.

The official death count stands at six, with some sixty injured in two blasts at a fireworks depot in the market.

An investigation is underway to reveal what caused the fireworks to detonate.
