Former Artsakh Army Commander Arrested for Negligence In Shushi Defense
Former Artsakh Defense Army Commander Mikayel Arzumanyan, charged with negligence in organizing the defense of Shushi during the 2020 Artsakh war, has been arrested.
Arzumanyan was detained on August 30 but released the next day.
Yerem Sargsyan, Arzumanyan’s lawyer, released a statement claiming that the court is following orders of the Artsakh government to persecute his client.
“The show goes on,” Sargsyan writes.
