
Armenian Foreign Minister Describes Border Situation to U.S. State Department Official
Armenia Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan, by telephone today, informed U.S. Deputy Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried about the situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border following tonight’s attack by Azerbaijani forces targeting Armenian military positions.
Mirzoyan, according to a statement released by his office, emphasized the need for an appropriate and adequate response by the international community to the aggressive and provocative actions of Azerbaijan.
