Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kan'ani has expressed his country’s concern about the recent escalation of tension along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and called on both sides to resolve disputes in a peaceful manner.

Kan'ani, according to the Mehr news agency, said any change to the borders of Armenia and Azerbaijan is unacceptable for Tehran, and that the territorial integrity of both nations must be respected.

He said Iran is ready to help resolve any disputes between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
