A ceasefire halting hostilities along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border has been reached, this according to Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan.

Grigoryan, during an interview with Armenian Public TV today, said the ceasefire was arranged with the help of the international community.

"Azerbaijan has not achieved significant success on the battlefield thanks to our army and we prevented the realization of a bigger plan that was on the table,” Grigoryan said.

He said that Armenian Ministry of Defense will release details of the ceasefire in due course.
