Blinken Expresses Condolences to Victims of Border Fighting
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken talked by telephone today about the situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
Blinken, according to a statement released by Pashinyan's office, conveyed his condolences to the victims of the hostilities and reaffirmed the United States' willingness to promote peace and dialogue.
The sides also referred to the discussions regarding Armenia’s application to the UN Security Council.
Pashinyan once again emphasized the importance of an adequate reaction of the international community to what is happening.
