Artsakh Foreign Minister Says Artsakh Must Fully Participate in Minsk Group Process

Artsakh Foreign Minister Davit Babayan, now in the U.S. on a working visit, reiterated that Artsakh can never be a part of Azerbaijan given Baku’s “genocidal policy” towards Artsakh.

Babayan, during a speech yesterday at an event organized by the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) Eastern Region, the Armenia Assembly of America, and the U.S. Congressional Committee on Armenian Affairs at the U.S. Congress, called for a resumption of the OSCE Minsk Group’s efforts to resolve the Karabakh issue with the full participation of the Artsakh government.

Babayan also expressed his gratitude to the U.S. people and government for their “special treatment” shown to Armenians in the country.

Babayan praised the work of the U.S. Congressional Committee on Armenian Affairs in protecting the rights of the people of Artsakh and condemning the aggressive policies of Turkey and Azerbaijan.
