Artsakh: Honoring Those Killed in 2020 Artsakh War

Students gathered today in the Artsakh capital Stepanakert  to mark the second anniversary of the 2020 Artsakh war and to pay their respects to the fallen.

Artsakh Armenian Apostolic Church Vice-Primate Sahak Shakaryan officiated at requiem service for those who died in the war, calling on the living to remember and respect their memory.

Mikayel Hajyan, a father who lost two sons in the April Four Day and 2020 Artsakh war, said September 27 is not a day of mourning but a day of pride

"The pages of our history are full of both heroic and tragic episodes, but we should think about what we are passing on to future generations and do everything to look at them without shame," Hajyan told ArtsakhPress.
