RA President Serzh Sargsyan today hosted Baroness Caroline Cox, a member of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland known for her support of Artsakh and Armenia.

President Sargsyan hailed her support of Armenia and Artsakh ever since independence, her humanitarian work and efforts towards the strengthening of Armenian-British relations.

Serzh Sargsyan said he was confident that the name of Baroness Cox would always remain high on the list of the greatest friends of the Armenian people.

President Sargsyan and Baroness Cox spoke about the reforms implemented in Armenia, the priorities of our country’s development and Armenia-EU cooperation.

They stressed the importance of consistently working towards providing a full and unbiased presentation of the Karabakh issue to the world.
