Armenian Apostolic Church Catholicos Garegin II and Dr. Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Almusallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH), today met at the Mother See in Etchmiadzin today and discussed the destruction and usurpation of Armenian spiritual and historical-cultural monuments in territories now under Azerbaijani control following the 2020 Karabakh war.

The two, according to a statement released by the Mother See, reaffirmed that relations between Armenia and the UAE remain strong.

The SIH not only works to enhance awareness of Emirati cultural heritage but seeks to facilitate cooperation with scientific and cultural organizations worldwide.
