
Aliyev, Russian Deputy PM Discuss Reopening of South Caucasus Transport Links
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk today, in Baku, discussed the steps taken by the tripartite working group to reopen transportation links in the South Caucasus.
According to Aliyev’s website, the two also discussed the "North-South" international transportation corridor and noted the dynamic development of Russian-Azerbaijani relations and the current state of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including trade and economy, transport and energy.
Overchuk is in Baku to attend the Eurasian Economic Forum.
